From: vicki(01 Jul 2010 12:09):  I understand your point, Claire. My daughter is a mars opposite pluto square aries sun. Her father is an ineffectual vague man who has no interest in controlling her. She is very strong willed little girl who reminds me of my father who has a Mars/Pluto conjunction in early Leo (1944).
From: Claire (01 Jul 2010 08:30):  Dear Marjorie
Very puzzled by your analysis Sun/Pluto. My daughter has a Sun/Pluto opposition with Pluto in Scorpio; her father was absent for much of her childhood and extremely laidback when he was there. My daughter has a very strong will and identity and if anything I would say that she is the controlling one whenever she gets the chance. Is it possible for the Sun/Pluto analysis to be turned on it's head in that way?
Regards.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my question. You've noted in your writing other women who have the Sun-Pluto aspect. Kate Winslet comes to mind. She seems to have acting as an outlet for the energy and a tool to tap into her power. Hmmm...I tried to find your mention of her and the others but she's not in the politics and celebrities section. Have you done away with your archive pre-new forum? Anyway, hopefully Capriati will find her way to tap into her power and find her voice rather than destroy herself.

I'm an avid reader of your website and I want to thank you for a superbly written piece on Sun/Pluto females.

Having Sun(Gemini) and Pluto (Virgo) square in my own natal chart (with 0 degrees orb!) I agree with everything that has been said.
The controlling father and boyfriends, etc. It has not been easy but luckily I met a wonderful person later in life (when 37 years old) who has a Moon/Pluto square natally and IT WORKS.. We were both controlled as children and young adults and understand one another perfectly. I believe that Sun/Pluto is hard on females and Moon/Pluto is hard on males...... Would you agree?
