Paris Hilton, an icon for a society fixated on empty celebrity, bling and all things disposable, has been had a drugs possession charge dropped in South Africa. She was there, one assumes, more to follow the media spotlight than for the football.
Born on 17 Feb 1981 at 3 am New York, she has a very Airy chart with her Sun, Mercury, Venus in Aquarius and Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto in Libra with a 'five-star lifestyle' Leo Moon. Venus in Aquarius or Gemini tend to be the social butterflies of the zodiac and she has it in spades with her Venus opposition Moon North Node and trine a 10th house wannabe influential Pluto. Her Pluto also trines her Sun Mercury, with Neptune on the Ascendant as a midpoint to that trine. So she likes to create an aura of mystique(Nep on Asc) behind which she can be fairly controlling.
She also has a Yod of Jupiter Saturn in Libra sextile Moon NNode in Leo inconjunct (150 degrees) Mars in Pisces. A Yod brings strain, a sense of not being quite in tune with herself or what's around her. And a focal point Mars gives her hyper-manic energy but tending to go off in all directions without much focus or sense of real purpose.
Usually Yods bring about unforeseen circumstances which force or present the individual with an opportunity to get onto a more focussed track where they finally feel they've found themselves. But it does require a breaking away from old securities. Though Bil Tierney says: " A mismanaged Yod could result in fateful consequences - due to rash or disruptive actions."
Usually Yods are triggered when one end is mobilised by strong transits. Her focal point Mars is at 9 Pisces which will get the tr Pluto sextile in 2012; and tr Pluto and tr Uranus will both hard aspect her Jupiter Saturn on one leg of the Yod also by 2012/13. By that time her Mars has moved by Solar Arc to pick up the tr Pluto tr Uranus hard aspects as well. So her life will change radically over the next two or three years. And there may be hints of it sooner when tr Saturn opposes her Solar Arc Mars come this autumn.
In any event this year and next are slipping sliding years with tr Neptune conjunct her Sun Mercury and square Uranus.
With an 8th house Moon NNode she's also likely to be embroiled at certain points in her life with financial tugs-of-war.
