Forum Articleback Abu Hamza - fuelled by hatred
Author: Marjorie. Date: 08 Jul 2010
Abu Hamza, the Egyptian born Islamic fundamentalist whose preaching of hatred and incitement to violence at a London mosque led to a 7 year UK jail sentence, has had his extradition to the USA on terrorist charges delayed by the EU Court of Human Rights. An American high security jail is a little too draconian for their delicate tastes - the judges I mean. Born 15 April 1958, Hamza has a chart which reflects his embittered, hatred-fuelled temperament. His Aries Sun Mercury is in an unshakeably self-confident Fire Grand Trine to a bleak, unbudgeable Pluto in Leo trine Saturn in Sagittarius. He has awesome perseverance. What makes it worse is that his Pluto is in a can-be brutally ruthless opposition to Mars in uncompromising Aquarius. So Mars is the driving planet of one kite formed by the grand trine and two sextiles of Saturn to Mars, and Sun to Mars. Another Kite is formed by the Sun opposition Jupiter which is way-over-the-top optimistic and overly demanding. He's got a great deal of talent and energy which clearly regrettably he funnelled into the wrong aims. He has real entrepreneurial flare which could have made him very successful at more than whipping up hatred and sponging off social security. He was born when Uranus was on the station to go direct in Leo. While not heavily aspected (only a potentially fanatical irrational square to Neptune) it would power up this revolutionary planet. When he first became interested in radical Islam in the early 1980s aged around 25, his Pluto, retrograde at birth, went direct by progression giving him a sense of where his power, influence and anger could be directed. What is interesting in his Secondary Progressions is that his Progressed Mars was on the exact mid point of the Jupiter Pluto sextile, thus forming a yod when the first news of his extradition came up a couple of years back. When Yods constellate even by progression there is usually a fated change of life's direction. Mars inconjunct Pluto is stuck, frustrated, frightened. Mars inconjunct Jupiter suggests over confidence which back fires. Whatever the European Human Rights judges say he doesn't have a happy time ahead. 2011 is frustrating and scary (SArc Pluto trine Mars); 11/12 are panicky and uncertain (SArc Neptune conjunct Saturn); 13/14 are a dead halt (SArc Pluto conjunct Sun); and 14/15 could be a complete meltdown as his SArc Saturn is conjunct his hugely emphasised and aspected Mars. Perhaps ending for ever his determination to get his own way. hide Marjorie's posts
