The Lilliane Bettencourt case in France is threatening to seriously undermine Nicholas Sarkozy personally, now that allegations have surfaced suggesting his political campaign accepted funds from her.
His Presidency chart (16 May 2007 9.36 am, Paris) is under considerable pressure at the moment with tr Pluto square the Solar Arc Mars till mid Aug and returning mid Oct/Nov 2010 which is blocked and enraging. There'll be more than a wobble when tr Uranus returns to square the Pres chart Pluto in Sept again in Feb 2011) which is seriously destabilising and sometimes coincides with a Government toppling altogether. Even before then there is an impatient, accident-prone tr Saturn opposition Mars, square SArc Pluto and opp SArc Mars in late July/Aug. Plus a distinct unpopularity tr Saturn square Venus come Oct 2010.
His own personal chart mirrors these high-stress influences with tr Pluto square his Solar Arc Sun now till mid Aug and again later in the year and thro' 2011 as well. With tr Saturn hitting the opposition to the SArc Sun come Aug.
So it's going to be an exceptionally bad tempered summer for him. With an even worse autumn as tr Saturn opposes his Aries Moon Mars from late Sept through Oct 2010. He's also from later this year got tr Uranus into his 7th which suggests partnership problems both personal and political.
