Forum Articleback Tour de France - Cadel Evans looking good
Author: Marjorie. Date: 15 Jul 2010
A quick flip through the main Tour de France contenders - mainly without birth times - suggests that Cadel Evans has a good deal of support from his chart. Tr Jupiter is square his Sun/Uranus and trine Jupiter/Pluto and sextile his Mars - all of those are high energy, confident, successful. Admittedly he does have a rather draggy tr Saturn opposition his Solar Arc Sun but that may give him focus. Ivan Basso may have tr Jupiter trine his Sun but he's got a number of other less encouraging influences as well. Alberto Contador, last year's winner, does have tr Jupiter square his Solar Arc Uranus which should bring him some lucky breaks. But he's lost the powerhouse SArc Pluto conjunct Jupiter which pushed him to last year's victory. Mark Cavendish looks a touch gloomy and impatient - plus ca change. Andy Schleck has nothing showing astrologically except for an insecure tr Uranus square Mars so not perhaps on his best form. Lance Armstrong looks seriously downbeat in this his last Tour de France which he has won seven times in the past after overcoming a major bout of cancer. He has tr Saturn conjunct his Pluto exactly now and aiming to conjunct his Venus within a couple of weeks. What may affect his performance apart from advancing years is the announcement of an investigation by USA federal authorities on allegations of fraud and doping made by disgraced cyclist Floyd Landis. He and others could be among witnesses issued grand jury subpoenas as part of the probe. Armstrong fiercely denies all charges. He's got a very stalwart, feisty chart with a determined Sun Pluto conjunction in Virgo; and an Air Grand Trine of Uranus trine Saturn trine Mars in Aquarius which is disciplined and uncompromising. He looks more upbeat and enthusiastic into 11/12. hide Marjorie's posts
