Sokratis Giolias - brave but not sensible

The Greek investigative journalist and blogger Sokratis Giolias who was gunned down on Monday at just before 5.30 am was born on 13 Feb 1973. He was a Sun Aquarius trine Uranus, with Uranus also in an adventurous square to Jupiter and widely trine Saturn in Gemini - so a very outspoken, reformist personality.
He also had a highly communicative Air Grand Trine of Venus in Aquarius trine Saturn trine Pluto, formed into a talented Kite by a Saturn opposition Neptune. So he was an odd mix of very up-in-his-head, yet very stubborn and enduring as well with Saturn Pluto. Neptune gave him vision for a better society. He also had a courageous, determined Mars in Capricorn square Pluto, perhaps in a T square of Mars opposition Moon in Cancer square Pluto. So he did have a great deal of anger to burn off.
On his chart - without a birth time - tr Uranus was square his Mars exactly and the tr Saturn square tr Pluto was obviously also impacting on his natal Mars square Pluto. So an insecure, risky time for him.
He was assassinated on his doorstep, it is thought by a leftwing terrorist group, when a Saturn Mars conjunction in Virgo was straddling the Nadir/IC. Which makes sense. There was a Mars Saturn opp Jupiter Uranus square Pluto North Node - so it does fit in with the mood of the moment. Plus there was a transitting Yod coming into aspect of Sun sextile Saturn inconjunct Neptune hinting at the other more fanatical side of Neptune. And also hinting at Giolias' disregard for his personal safety.
