UN - grumbling and griping inside and drifting outside

The United Nations was born on 24 October 1945 at 4.45pm. It has an intense 7th house Scorpio Sun and Mercury square a 5th house Pluto. So it is dependent on alliances, stubborn, possessive, slow to let go control. All of which rather belies the fiery pro-active looking Aries Ascendant. Neptune Venus in Libra in the 6th give a sense of service though not always a practical outlook. Indeed there's no Earth in the chart at all so it's not always realistic. Jupiter in Libra trine Uranus and sextile that very emphasised 5th house Pluto - so grandstanding is part and parcel of its modus operandi.
There's also a curiously aggravated 4th house Mars Saturn in Cancer hinting at a not entirely happy internal set up.
Tr Saturn is now into the 6th about to conjunct Neptune Venus Jupiter from October this year onwards - so some confusion and uncertainty, a heavy workload but not much sense of progress. This is accentuated by the Solar Arc Sun squaring the UN Neptune in 10/11 which is lack lustre and drifting. There is also a good deal of jolting and jarring from tr Uranus opposition the Solar Arc Mars and Saturn at the moment till late September and returning early next year. So the highly critical memo of the departing senior aide about Ban Ki-Moon's failings may just be the beginning of internal rumblings of discontent.
Into 2011 tr Pluto is square the 6th house Neptune and Venus which does not bode well since it suggests even more uncertainty and muddle. What may help is Saturn rising above the Descendant in 2012 and beyond which should put the UN into a more prominent position.
The UN's relationships with the USA look most stressed at the moment and worsening to major frustration in 11/12. The EU interface also looks enfuriated and stuck with huge upheavals and disruptions come 2013/14. China's UN relationship looks edgy and unsettled this year especially in Nov/Dec but the major aggravation will come in 2012 and beyond.
