Mark Chapman & John Lennon - bound by fate and hatred

Mark Chapman, John Lennon's killer is due for another parole hearing on August 9th as he is into the 29th year of a 20 years to life sentence. Yoko Ono has written to oppose his being freed.
Deemed a schizophrenic at the time of his trial, he'd had a fractured life with an abusive father, a history of drug taking, latterly becoming a born-again Christian. Born on 10 May 1955 at 7.30pm Fort Worth, TX, USA he does have an extraordinary chart. His Sun Taurus is in opposition to an obsessively conscientious Saturn in Scorpio squaring onto Pluto - describing the unyielding bleakness of his soldier father.
Pluto also sextiles his 8th house buried-anger Mars in Gemini and trines Venus so his feelings do run deep and intense. With a Venus in Aries opposition Neptune square Jupiter Uranus in Cancer. So he has a half Grand Sextile and a Fixed T square and a Cardinal T Square.
The mid 1950s did produce some remarkable talents with that emphasised Jupiter Uranus conjunction but his life perhaps because of house placings went off the rails.
When he murdered John Lennon on 8 Dec 1980 tr Pluto was within a degree of a square to his emphasised Jupiter Uranus conjunction, boosting his already manic state. With the heady tr Jupiter conjunct tr Saturn in Libra trine his Mercury - doing much the same.
There are marked cross overs between Chapman and John Lennon's chart - 9 Oct 1940 6.30pm Liverpool, England. Chapman's Venus was exactly conjunct Lennon's Aries Ascendant, so he'd be drawn to Lennon's public image. With Chapman's Capricorn Moon trine Midheaven sitting conjunct Lennon's Midheaven trine Venus - so there's a good deal going on which is partly affectionate, partly envious. Chapman's emphasised controlling Pluto was also squared Lennon's Uranus in Taurus so Chapman's need to be the one pulling the string proved to be the final upset in Lennon's life. Chapman's Chiron was also conjunct Lennon's Aquarius Moon so perhaps in some warped way Chapman though his road to healing lay in destroying Lennon's connection to the public (Moon).
But the relationship chart shows up a less Venusian connection with a hatred-filled, brutal Saturn opposition a Mars Pluto conjunction. It is a real killers' interface. Tr Pluto was exactly sextile the composite Mercury and trine the composite Uranus in 1980 so an intensely disruptive point.
The tragically interesting point about Lennon's chart is that he was born on an exact Jupiter Saturn conjunction in Taurus, launched his stratospherically successful career twenty years later on the next Jupiter Saturn conjunction, and died twenty years after that on the next almost exact Jupiter Saturn conjunction in Libra. Jupiter Saturn can be problematic for those who become public icons - who fly too high on the Jupiterian soar and are then cut down to earth by Saturn. For most normal people with Jupiter Saturn who don't defy the gods with overwhelming ambition, this doesn't happen clearly. They just struggle with finding a balance between idealism and realism.
When Lennon died tr Uranus was just into his 8th house of transformation, conjunct his Solar Arc Sun - so had he not died, he'd still have had a tremendous jolt. His Solar Arc Uranus was also just into his 4th house. So there was a great deal of Uranian energy was sitting at critical points in his chart releasing a sudden burst of disruptive energy. Plus the tr Jupiter tr Saturn conjunction was square his Midheaven and tr Pluto was trine his Solar Arc Saturn Jupiter - again highlighting the crucial nature of that Jupiter Saturn in his life.
Chapman's chart also impacts strongly on Yoko Ono's - 18 Feb 1933 8.30pm Tokyo, Japan. Chapman's bleak Sun falls in her 8th house of transformation with his impulsive Jupiter Uranus conjunction her 10th house Pluto, pulling away her power and control. Her Pluto squares a 7th house Uranus so his Cardinal T Square - also disrupted her close but unconventional relationship with Lennon. Chapman's angry, explosive Mars is square her 12th house Jupiter Mars in Virgo, destroying her peace of mind.
Their relationship chart also has a hatred-filled Mars Pluto conjunction sitting on the composite Midheaven trine the composite Sun, so there'll be no forgive and forget.
At the moment Chapman has difficult transits to midpoints making it seem unlikely that this his sixth parole hearing will be any more successful than the previous ones. But he's also got his Solar Arc Midheaven conjunct his natal Jupiter Uranus - so he could get lucky. Though life on the outside after thirty years of institutional living would be almost impossible for him and highly risky since he'd undoubtedly be targeted by the media and then vengeful fans.
