Into a friendly, forward looking few weeks you'll be surrounded by good company at work and in your leisure hours. You'll be setting plans happily for the next twelve months and not looking backwards over your shoulder. Heavier responsibilities will be landing on your shoulders courtesy of Saturn now at your midheaven. This is when you reap the rewards of past efforts, gaining the respect of those whose judgement you trust. Though it also tends to bring chickens home to root so if mistakes have been made or projects not prepared well enough it will now become obvious. Mistakes have to be unpicked and sorted out as soon as possible. You won't be able to cut corners or go for quick fixes. You'll need to stick to the straight and narrow. Certain friends or team mates may try to tempt you into spending more than is wise around the 10th and a few days later. So don't let your heart rule your head. It'll be tough going around mid month so you'll need to be disciplined and just keep pushing. After the 22nd you'll want to stand on the sidelines to let others do the running around for a few weeks.

For December

With the Sun and Venus in the sign before yours and Mars in the other hidden house in your chart, there will be a good deal going on behind the scenes and perhaps less progress than you might wish. Just dig your heels in to defend your rights and stand up for what you reckon you are due financially and emotionally. This isn't the time to be too pro-active, upfront or go ahead. You'll need to tread water till the 21st and try to give yourself a break to recharge your batteries. You won't be as sociable as usual so pamper yourself in the quiet moments. The 11th may be sticky but you'll win through with tact and determination. By the 15th you'll feel more confident and secure. Then as the Sun moves into your birthday sign on the 21st you'll feel more on form. There'll be a few hurdles to overcome with Pluto on the 24th and Saturn on the 25th so it won't all be a picnic. Luckily you'll be back in the social swing after the 25th feeling popular and awash with invitations. The Lunar Eclipse on the 31st will find you the right answer about one close relationship.

Overview 

2009 will be a turning point year when you get a grip - of yourself, of your environment - and become more influential. Your personal finances should flourish with money flowing in faster though probably out again equally quickly since your spending will soar. You'll continue to be frantically busy with plenty of opportunities to shine out in the spotlight. After mid year you'll reorganise your home life and dig in your heels determinedly to improve your security.

Romance 

You will be happier at home with the family and those who share your live-in space for the first few months so you'll be calmer, more contented within yourself. You'll want to invite family and friends round more often, will organise a few romantic candlelit suppers and generally want to socialise more at home than outside. You'll add elegant touches to the decoration since you'll want beauty on the outside to match your inner mood. Close partners may find you rather enigmatic since you won't be as open or as adaptable as in the past. You'll be secretive, more controlling at times, not listening to feedback. By mid year and the Cancer Solar Eclipse you'll know adjustments have to be made in your closest relationship to get the fulfilment you want. Being less self sufficient, more adaptable will help. From October you'll find a few tensions at home or with the family emerge into the open. Be tactful but regard it as a good time to clear the air.

Money 

With Jupiter around you'll find luck is on your side with your personal finances improving though the risk is you'll become over hopeful and not pay enough attention to detail. Don't sail along on a pink cloud. You need to stay more anchored than usual. Be utterly realistic and avoid anything remotely speculative. The Aquarius Solar eclipse in January hints that taking the initiative with your personal finances will pay off. Push yourself into making key decisions and then act on them. Ambling along as before won't work. Certainly avoid the temptation to throw money around to impress. February will be the time to really push hard. By August you'll be juggling a few options knowing you need to co-operate more actively rather than just flying solo. From mid October you'll really dig in to sort out certain joint financial matters with close partners at home or at work, or with financial institutions. You'll need to be persistent and flexible since solutions will take some time to be found which everyone agrees are fair.

Work 

You'll be in a stronger position to dictate terms or have your demands met as long as you don't go too far and insist everyone fits in exactly with your needs. A little flexibility will go along way now that you have more sense of your own power. Charm will get you a long way from February to June so impressing the right people with elegant compliments and your diplomatic approach will be the way to go. There will as last year be almost too much to do so you'll need to manage your time well. A constantly changing situation will keep you on your toes. Not everyone around you at work will act predictably or even fairly so you'll need to be alert and stay calm at the same time. April and May will be your times to make your mark. You'll be competitive, ambitious and ultra determined. Just don't run into no win discussions by being too confrontational. From November with Saturn at your midheaven you'll gain the benefits of what you have already prepared. It'll be tough going at points because of difficult circumstances around you. But being conscientious and dutiful will earn you respect.

Health 

There are no direct health aspects in your chart this year so you'll probably sail through in good form. Though a frantically busy, scattered schedule may wind you up too much at times. So calming exercises and more relaxation time will help. You'll also be inclined to tense up slightly with Pluto now in your own sign and since teeth and joints are your body areas to watch, anything which helps you bend and stretch more will help. Drinking more water to clear toxins out of your system will also be a good idea since Pluto tends to hold in rather than let go. Late May through to August will be demanding months on the work front so you'll need to put as much energy towards staying fit to recharge your batteries. In August you could be slightly accident prone and that's probably true of April as well, so go cautiously. From November certain pressures will ease so you won't be as drained.
