Gradually you'll become aware that certain activities no longer hold your interest and at some point need to be dropped. Nothing happens suddenly with Saturn but along the way you'll be clearing the decks of old attitudes of mind that don't fit with your present circumstances, even friendships which have passed their sell by date. Your social life will bounce back with a flourish after the 8th so you'll be out in the swing of fun parties. OK mid month will be tough going out in the world which will damp your exuberance slightly. But you won't stay down for long. In the final days you'll be finding more money comes your way.

Your extravagances will soar so you'll need to re-double your efforts to improve the cash flow to keep up. This is your time of year when there should be more opportunities around so grab them with both hands and make it work for you. At times you may be trying to compensate for what you feel you are not getting elsewhere in your life but don't muddle up love and money since it can get very expensive. Loved ones value you even though they may not give you things of great material value. Your busy schedule will keep boredom well at bay with lots of short trips and conversations. Dynamic Mars is now firmly situated at your midheaven for several months so you won't be letting up on your demands or your ambitious push. The 11th should see rewards rolling in. Loved ones may cost more than you expect mid month but you'll be so good humoured you won't mind. From the 21st you'll be moving around and talking even faster than before. There will be a few anchors dragging and a few challenges until the 25th. Then you'll find thoughtful gestures and votes of appreciation make you feel good again.

Overview 

Happier at home, more contented within yourself, you'll gradually begin to feel more settled as 2009 goes on. Loved ones will continue to be slightly mischievous or erratic which will keep you on your toes. Your everyday schedule will be pressured with a few differences of opinion which you'll handle better if you lighten up. Late in the year you'll know you need to clear the decks of whatever is no longer of use to you for the future.

Romance 

With Jupiter into Aquarius all year you'll find the family and live in relationships become much more amiable. Most of the time everyone will be happy to let old tensions go and to pull together. You'll invite friends and the wider family round more often to entertain. Perhaps even think of expanding your domestic setup to provide for more space and comfort. OK so there will be times when you get over hopeful and become disappointed when certain family members don't pull their weight. But if you're realistic then all will go well. Your social life will be rather unpredictable which will be exhilarating though it will continue to be switch on switch off, at times sparkling and vivacious and rather absent at others. Just give loved ones a long rein since they won't appreciate being crowded. The Aquarian Eclipse covering the first six months says matters of the heart must take priority over matters of the head, so focus on your emotional life, make the necessary adjustments and you'll be pleased with the result.

Money 

Money should be less of an obsessive concern now that Pluto has moved on. You'll still be concerned about the long term future so not doing anything too wild apart from spending money at home which will pay dividends. With your plans changing so much you know you need to keep a few emergency plans up your sleeve and not leave yourself over stretched at any point. From May till July you'll be wrestling with a few joint financial matters, keen to reach better agreements and improve your security. But you won't get it all your own way so will need to compromise whether with partners at home, at work or with financial institutions. You'll emerge in August with more security after a few setbacks and one or two tough decisions. By late November you'll see rewards rolling through with your personal finances getting a boost. Admittedly times will be tough then generally but you should fare better than most.

Work 

You'll be approaching your daily chores in a new mood this year, at times slightly too intensely. Your determination to get to the bottom of everything will find you digging for deeper answers. But in the process you may end up looking too much on the bleak side or being too dogmatic in discussions. Try to sound tolerant even if you don't feel it and work relationships will improve enormously. Luckily from February to June Venus in Aries will help to add a touch of sweetness and light to the atmosphere at work. You'll be happy to wait for a few months before making a determined push to succeed. By August you'll start the ball rolling with new schemes and a more persistent attitude. In the final months you'll be powering ahead ambitiously, not taking no for an answer, and insisting everyone around toes your line. Certain old activities at work will gradually fade into the background since they no longer hold your interest.

Health 

The only health issue which crops up early on in the first months of the year is a tendency to over indulge in richer and sweeter food. So you may expand if you don't up your exercise regimes and exert some self control. You will be more relaxed within yourself which in general will help to ease tensions in a rather scrambled year. Though your pressured schedule will make you stiffen at times so any exercises which help keep you flexible will be a benefit. You'll also need not to hang on - emotionally to resentments which makes you hang on physically to toxins. Let everything flow through. Forgive, forget and move on. Don't let hurts fester. Drink more water and eat easily digestible food. Too much pressure in late March and April is a time to specially watch and stay on the sunnyside up. Take a real break through October and from then on resolve not to weigh yourself down with unnecessary tasks which will drain your energy or take on board too many worries.
