Venus flitting into Sagittarius to join the Sun will bounce you back into the social swing, looking great and attracting admiring glances wherever you go. You'll be more outgoing, rather robust in your approach but utterly charming at the same time. Nothing will be allowed to damp your spirits or keep you quiet. Paying attention to a few financial details will help after the 5th. Even if those close disagree you know you have to get yourself better informed. The 11th will be a high when your wholehearted approach works wonders. The family or loved ones may not be entirely on side come the 14th but frankly you won't care. You'll skip merrily on, getting good news on the 15th, allowing your affections to be seen on the 17th. Though life will take on a more serious tone after the 21st. You'll know you have to sort out practical, perhaps cash matters, and take a firm stand. Up to the 24th will be challenging but there's no sense in sounding too stubborn. Just be firm but flexible. Overview 

Your everyday schedule at work and elsewhere will be enthusiastic, lighter hearted and luckier through 2009. You'll be socialising happily for several months. Though your main priority is to get firmer control of your finances and to make sure you are building up your security long term no matter how much effort it takes or how much resistance you have to overcome. Your home life will be unsettled but towards the year end you'll be aiming upwards and onwards making serious plans for the longer term.

Romance 

The great news for you is that charming, romantic Venus in Aries from February to June which will improve your social prospects, bring in rafts of invitations and compliments. You'll be communicating confidently, putting yourself across with exuberance and making everyone you meet feel better. Loved ones will rally round to make you centre of attention. OK so there will be upheavals and some disruptions at home which you won't avoid. Indeed they will act in your favour in the long run since they'll give you more elbow room, the freedom to suit yourself. Just don't over react and rock the boat too hard which may be a slight risk. Luckily January will be sweetness and light in your intimate surroundings though the months to watch are April, June and August when too much may be said in haste. April especially will find you unsettled, impatient, inclined to speak your mind and then wish you hadn't been so hasty. By June you'll be back on more even territory with close partners with affection coming your way in July. Towards the year end loyal, trusted friends will be rock solid support.

Money 

Money will be a major theme for you with Pluto moving into Capricorn. It brings a compulsive edge to your handling of money. Sometimes that means you over spend but really what you need to do is turn your considerable talents to earning more. It may also bring power struggles over money from those who may not wish you to hold all the purse strings. But that will not push you off track. Just don't be too controlling. Pluto can backfire if you dig your heels in too stubbornly. You need to flow with the bounty of the universe and it'll flow back in your direction. But you will need to re-structure your finances and your attitudes before this begins to happen. January will find you powering ahead making it work for yourself with results rolling in. There may be a challenge or two in late March and April which can be overcome with ingenuity and persistence. By the Solar Eclipse in your chart area of joint finances in July you'll know you have to change the habits of a lifetime and alter the way you share, care, relate and co-operate over money. By December you'll know what has worked and what needs to be abandoned.

Work 

This is when you take your blinkers off and discover that what has been holding you back wasn't bad luck but too narrow an attitude on your part. Your rising enthusiasm and positive way with words will improve your chances since everyone at work will rally round and be pleased to follow your ideas. But you'll need to manage your busy schedule well since there's a great deal going on for the first six months. Staying on top of detail, prioritising and standing still long enough to ensure others have understood clearly what you are driving at will definitely help. April and May will not be glamorous months at work but you'll establish solid foundations for what comes later in the year. By September you'll be on a high knowing it's been worth the effort and self discipline you've put in. Health 

On generally better form you shouldn't be facing too many problems despite the constantly changing circumstances around you and an overly busy schedule. Just don't over commit yourself in your enthusiasm since you will run out of steam if you do. Late April till mid July will be testing times with heavier demands on your energy so be determined to schedule in time for relaxation and exercise as well. You'll tend to hash and crash on regardless in a spirit of over hopefulness. Being a fire sign you always imagine you can fly on for ever on hot air and often don't pay enough attention to your body's needs. There will be a few emotional strains so you'll need to find a way of re-centring yourself and not letting tensions creep into your body.
