A hidden Sagittarian Moon suggests a childhood where he felt he lacked nurturing, but is probably also where part of his outspokenness comes from. The other is the Sun Uranus square which makes him rebellious and uncompromising. This highly emphasised Uranus on the point of a cardinal T square makes him impatient, overly stimulated, custom designed to be a social activist and crusader. It also makes him straightforward to the point of agressiveness, at times his abrupt manner alienates those he is trying to persuade. His tendency will be to upset the status quo and to destabilise. But in so doing he reaches deeper truths. Bil Tierney describes this configuration as the ‘light bearer for a darkened world.’ Jupiter in the 3rd give him a wonderful way with words and in Aries a very upfront way of delivering his views. Not surprisingly he has a full 9th house – six out of his ten planets are there. The 9th is about long distance travel, foreign countries and gives him an interest in what is happening out in the world. He is philosophical by nature, a thinker, talker and traveller. Uranus in the 7th hints at a dislike of close possessive emotional relationships. He likes space and can be unpredictable in his emotional responses and always attracts himself to zany, unconventional partners. Pluto in the 8th could bring a sense of fatedness about his life, at times a stuckness at situations in which he finds himself being well beyond his control. But it can also at its best end be about wielding unseen power in a subtle way.
ASTROCARTOGRAPHY: His astrocartography interestingly indicates his Moon Midheaven line falls directly through Africa to the east, running through the tip of Ethiopia, where the famine first brought him into his global charitable campaigning to ease poverty and starvation in Africa. The Moon is the mothering, nurturing, feeding, feminine energy and sitting with his career line describes accurately his talent and his drive to make a difference in this region of the world. His Pluto, Venus and Mars Descendant lines also run through Africa so he brings his intensity, passionate enthusiasm, forcefulness and charm to bear on persuading others to lend a hand.
PRESENT INFLUENCES : With Jupiter heading for his midheaven in early August 2005 and through his 10th house for the following 14 months he will be successful in what he does, with boosts for his reputation. Pluto is heading from this year into his first house for the next decade, which will start with a highly controlling phase but will develop into a personal learning curve about himself and how to have more influence in ways he wants. Saturn is rising through his 3rd quadrant so he’ll be around as a prominent personality for many years to come. He’ll start his peak in 2012 and for the years thereafter till 2017 through the most difficult phase of the global upheaval following Pluto’s entry into Capricorn in 2008. He may prove to be a key figure in the events which develop. At a more mundane level he may find money tricky to raise in the next couple of years and feel the universe is being less generous towards him than he’d wish.
