The McCartney divorce settlement was never going to please Heather Mills since it all took place as Saturn was exerting its usual restrictive influence over her overly enthusiastic Mars Jupiter opposition. The court hearing in February occurred as Saturn was conjunct her Jupiter which is limiting, usually dents confidence and hints at financial cutbacks, or at least brings hopes down to realistic levels. Saturn is at the moment square the Mars/Jupiter midpoint which is a gloomy end to an agreement. Saturn then opposes Mars from March 23rd to April 13th which is irritable, accident prone, can be bitterly resentful, definitely a sense of not getting what she wants. All of these repeat mid May to mid July 08. Uranus also opposes Uranus mid May to early August which is the start of what is usually a mid life crisis, with impulsive behaviour and overly excitable decisions. Since Pluto also squares Uranus in mid June and July 08 she'll feel her life has completely turned upside down. Nothing will seem stable or secure.
Paul McCartney looks fairly confident, even slightly over the top at the moment as Pluto opposes his Jupiter till late April. But mid April to mid May Saturn squares his Uranus which will be thoroughly unsettling. This court decision may not be the end of the matter.

(06 Nov 2007 14:20): The luridly public break up of Paul McCartney and Heather Mills' marriage is hitting the headlines again with her media outbursts following the failure of mediation, making an open court battle in February more likely. He maintains a dignified silence as befits a fixed sign Moon Pluto and an 8th house Venus - he has always ring fenced his emotional life with privacy. Heather Mills on the other hand has a scattered, excitable Gemini Moon opposition squaring onto a Mars Jupiter opposition - this mutable Grand Square tends to make her react like a windmill in a high wind, going off in all directions at once. Mars Jupiter can also be very self justifying and extravagant, often with other people's money. Sacker & Ackoian describe it as appearing to be friendly but in reality actions are usually self-serving; it is opinionated and aggressive in promoting strongly held views, leading to antagonism. Often it appears in the charts of soldiers of fortune. 'The natives are prone to boast and exaggerate their own importance.' Mars is never at its happiest in Pisces, though it can produce good dancers oddly enough. It tends to breed resentment, often from an unconscious level and those who carry it strongly in their chart often over burden others with their psychological and emotional problems.
Her Gemini Moon is exceptionally restless and emotionally fickle, a trait emphasised by an afflicted Venus in Sagittarius which tends to be a social butterfly. Her earthy Capricorn Sun does give her a degree of practicality and resourcefulness but it is a socially ambitious sign, and trining on to a Uranus Pluto conjunction in Virgo, makes her erratic and contradictory in her behaviour and attitudes. If the birth time of 8.04 am is correct then Uranus Pluto in late Virgo and Jupiter in early Virgo are all in the 8th - which also adds to her psychological burden since there is much she does not understand about herself. She acts on whim, constantly feels trapped by circumstances beyond her control, always has, and tends to expect others to support her. Though with Saturn in Aries she was thrown back onto her own resources early in life which has given her courage but has also hardened her.
Paul McCartney is now almost out of an exceptionally difficult couple of years with Pluto opposing his Sun and squaring Neptune until the end of November 07. 2008 will have a few ups and downs but January, February and March look lucky, upbeat with a real feeling of relief by March. Heather Mills on the other hand is facing a difficult time for a few years ahead. Saturn will conjunct her Jupiter in February 08 which is good neither for money nor confidence. Then it opposes Mars which is accident prone, a time of setbacks and problems, perhaps physical as well as emotional and financial - and these two influences run on and off till mid 2008. Transitting Pluto opposes Uranus from late December 07 for a year which will turn her expectations upside down; and transitting Uranus will oppose Pluto also through 2008 which does much the same. It will be a time of jolting change. Into 2009 and 2010 Pluto is sextile her Mars which is tough going. Pluto does trine Jupiter for a couple of months in 2010 and returns more solidly in 2011 which will bring a resurgence of confidence and is generally good for money and success. Though Pluto is square Saturn in 2011 and 2012 which is usually challenging, a struggle against difficulties and shortages of one sort or another. And by 2012 Uranus then in Aries reaches the conjunction with Saturn so it will be a truly testing time for her. Only thereafter will she start to move into more peaceful times.
HIS CHART: A Midheaven Gemini Sun with Jupiter close by in the 10th is the pointer to a high profile, successful public career. He may be emotionally private but he needs the attention of the masses to feel fulfilled. Jupiter brings talent, luck, ease with his position as a world icon. Gemini is a sign associated with pop singers since it is light, communicative, adept at adapting to new vogues and keen to spread the net as widely as possible. With another three planets in Gemini including Mercury he is alert, sharp witted, an expert at multi-tasking. Uranus and Saturn the other two planets give him a serious side, inventive, sometimes argumentative, but always looking for a new breakthrough. He has a strong intuition, has the courage to be original and experimental without worrying about upsetting the status quo.
With a strong 9th house he is good at spreading the word of his pet causes, communicates his beliefs enthusiastically and s travelling, though he was always destined to be heavily involved in legal matters at times in his life. An ultra determined, at times quite ruthless, Mars Pluto conjunction in sextile to Saturn Uranus gives him the driving edge to make his ideas stick. He can be an implacable opponent when roused. Though he can also be exceptionally kind with his Sun square Neptune on his Virgo Ascendant. This brings musical, creative talent as well and while he can be vague, at times disorganised, he is also tuned into the needs of society and other people. An 11th house Leo Moon gives him a liking for flamboyance and the good life.
His emotional life is kept under wraps generally with a deeply buried Venus in Taurus in the 8th. He is passionate, possessive, stubborn, feels intensely and rarely lets on when he is hurt. Although Mars Pluto are well out of orb of his Moon, they do all inhabit Leo, so he has a hint of the conjunction suggesting his home, family and emotional life are closely guarded, sometimes an area of turmoil and anguish.
PRESENT INFLUENCES: With Saturn conjunct his Sun/Moon midpoint from mid 2004 to mid 2005, often a significator of relationship breakdowns, he has been aware for some time that his marriage was not working. Then from mid 2005 to early May 2006, Saturn criss crossed first across Mars with accompanying frustration and anger, and then Pluto which usually brings major structural changes in life, a clearing out of what no longer fits and some discouragement. Through 2005 Neptune also opposed his Moon bringing undermining circumstances at home and some disappointment at a less than ideal situation. Into 2006 Neptune started to square Venus (late February 06 to January 07) which brings romantic dreams crashing down as reality kicks in. Pluto also moved onto oppose his 10th house Sun from early 2006, an influence which continues off and on till late October 2007. This takes down an old way of life usually with some difficulty or loss involved to clear the way for a new beginning on the far side. Since Pluto is just into his 4th house it was obviously going to bring a major change in his home and family life and relationships as well as a radical revisioning of his direction in life and public image.
With Saturn approaching the conjunction to his Moon in late August 2006, then square Venus in September 06, he faces a sad time with separations weighing heavily on him. Luckily his progressed Moon is now into his 4th for a couple of years so he’ll gain comfort and reassurance from his own family and in being tucked away privately at home. Jupiter will also help to cheer up his everyday contacts as it moves into his 3rd for a year from late October 2006. By the end of 2007 with Jupiter then in his 4th he’ll be happy to stay out of sight emotionally, though not professionally. Though from September 2007 to mid 2008 he may be facing legal battles as Saturn just into Virgo starts to square his 9th house planets. In 2009 with Uranus squaring his Sun and into his 7th he’ll be changing his life radically, with some jolts and upheavals along the way. He won’t want too committed close relationships at this point and will pull back from a busy work schedule to move more fully out of the public spotlight.
