A rebellious Sun Uranus conjunction incomfortably situated in dreamy and delusional Pisces squaring onto an over-confident, fanatical Mars Jupiter conjunction in flamboyant Sagittarius point to a reckless, restless temperament, which crashes ahead against all common sense. These placings suggest a 'might makes right' attitude which will not brook any opposition. Mercury opposing Neptune squaring onto Saturn describes a stubborn but distrustful cast of mind, at times unconnected to reality and given to depression. Without an accurate birth time it is difficult to place the Moon, though it is almost certainly in opposition to the Sun or Uranus and forming a (perhaps wide) T square with Mars Jupiter.
PRESENT INFLUENCES: Input Dec 30 07 Without an accurate birth time the Moon’s exact degree cannot be established but his restless, highly strung, overly confident, self justifying mutable T square of Moon opposition Uranus square Jupiter, Mars has been rocking on its axis as Uranus returned to conjunct Uranus through 2007 and finishing in Jan 08. Uranus in 2008 then squares Mars, which is usually a highly insecure, often disruptive or explosive influence, sometimes with health implications. But with Jupiter close to Mars natally, his luck may hold out.
There will however be continuing and perhaps more inexorable pressures for change as Pluto sextiles his Pisces Sun (08/09) and Saturn (09/10) over the next three years. In 08/09 Pluto squares his Sun/Saturn midpoint which can suggest delicate health or a difficult struggle to advance, feeling more and more isolated. In 08 as well Pluto squares Mars/Pluto from late January on and off through the year which is frustrating stuck and high risk. Saturn will continue to oppose his Sun until mid 08 bringing setbacks, some discouragement and then it moves on to square Jupiter, dampening his enthusiasm, and squares Mars from Dec 08 through 09 which is irritable, accident prone and tricky. The Saturn Uranus opposition of late 2008/09 will continually bounce off his gung ho, never-say-die Mars Jupiter conjunction which will knock him off balance. 09 and 10 especially will be bleak years for him. Though as ever he also has Jupiter influences which will give him renewed confidence at points along the way.
Mugabe and Zimbabwe: With Neptune trine the Mars Jupiter conjunction on the composite chart through 08 and 09 there will be a sliding sense of disappointment in his ability to fulfil any of the country’s hopes. But it is the Pluto square Sun through 08 which gives most sense that the pressure for urgently needed changes are reaching a critical mass. It won’t happen easily since the composite Sun opposes Saturn but there will be gradual signs - after immense pressure - of some movement. [See also Zimbabwe]
