Rene’s Chart The star of Bridget Jones, Cold Mountain, Moulin Rouge and other major box office hits, is a placid earthy Taurus with a flamboyant Leo Moon. Saturn in late Aries sits close to her Sun giving her a strong work ethic, a sense of self reliance, at times a slightly depressive streak. She learnt early on that she would have to rely on her own resilience and resources. With a confident pushy Jupiter Pluto conjunction in Virgo, she will sweep social niceties to one side where necessary to make her mark. Mars in fiesty Sagittarius is in square to Jupiter Pluto emphasising her love of a colourful life style, determination to suceed and also hints at her liking for adventurers and rather wild partners. She can at times take risks, with money as well as elsewhere, but sensible Saturn usually throws in enough common sense and stability for her never to go to extremes. With a Sun Moon square she would experience her parents as very different personalities, almost incompatible. This will have left her with a driving urge to find fulfilment for herself though she’ll tend to feel she either pleases her heart or her head. Managing to live an all round lifestyle will be tricky in early adult life. Venus in Aries makes her upfront about who she fancies; in trine to Mars makes her passionately enthusiastic about romance; in opposition to Uranus makes her emotions and romantic attachments fickle. She changes her mind frequently and is fearful of close commitment. With her fiery Leo Moon on the point of a fixed T square to a Mercury Neptune opposition she is highly sensitive emotionally and self protective. Security is very important to her and she can be vulnerable and touchy if she feels threatened. Working in the public eye where she has the adoration of fans – at a safe distance – will provide her with nurturing and feel safer than intimate relationships. She can be possessive, and get stuck in the past, so will need to clear out from time to time whatever is holding her back.
Without a birth time her career cycle is difficult to establish. Neptune sextiles Mars in 2006 which can be undermining, slightly panicky about failure. In 2007 Uranus is square Mars which is over excitable and insecure. Though with Pluto squaring Jupiter as well in 2007, she will push hard to keep the hits and the financial rewards coming.
